The “biggest” moon of the year

Here is a photo I took tonight, of the biggest Supermoon of this year. (There was already one Supermoon in July, and one more is coming on September 9.)

Certain moons are called “supermoons” because, on their orbit around Earth, they come closer to the Earth and appear bigger and brighter than normal. Here’s more from NASA.
